How to use filters to find the information relevant to you?
In this article we will review the filters section of the website that allow you filter out the information you want to see.
Filters are available to use within the projects screen, Workloads screen, Time Sheets Reporting screen, and Expenses screen. The filters help you focus on the information you are looking for. Try checking various filters in the left hand filters bar and notice how information not within your filter selection drops off leaving only the information that does.
You can save your frequently used projects filter settings which allows you to quickly apply the filter. Once you have the filter set the way you want it, simply click the green Save Filter Set button.
This will prompt you to name your filter. Go ahead and type a name for your filter set, then click the green Save Filter Set button just below the naming field.
Tour filter is now saved under the filter name you assigned.
To view and apply your saved filters, click the dark blue saved filters box to see all your saved filter sets, and select the saved filter you want to enable it at any time. The name of the filter you selected will appear in the dark blue saved filters box.
To clear filters, just hit the gray clear button just above the green save filter set button.
The blue collapse and expand buttons next to each filter group in the left side filter menu allows you to quickly hide or view all the filters you can use. You can expand each filter group by clicking the grey "+" button to the left of the group title. To collapse the group when you done viewing the filters, click the dark blue "-" button left of the group title.
Most filters also have a Filter projects... box at the top of the filter group lists where you can click in and select all the projects you want to include in your filters.
The Expenses filter menu includes a Set dates... click in box where you can set dates for filtering expense reports.
These are the main navigation elements of filters, we recommend playing around in them clicking through to see how you can view various sets of information. Then once you're done just hit the clear button and you will return to viewing all the information within your platform.
